I count myself most fortunate to travel to the Ozarks to document Lauren and Stephen’s very special day. Lauren and Stephen are two very special people who met in architecture school, had crushes on each other and bonded through their absolutely love of random quotes of Mr. Mom. Yes, the 1983 movie starring Michael Keaton.
Since Lauren and Stephen are architects, they definitely love aesthetically pleasing buildings and what could be more amazing than a building designed by E. Fay Jones, an apprentice to Frank Lloyd Wright. The Thorncrown Chapel is located in the historic town of Eureka Springs, and is seriously such an amazing chapel with flawless glass windows surrounding it. This area is so absolutely beautiful and peaceful, such an lovely setting for a wedding.
Lauren and Stephen wanted to keep their wedding small and intimate, only inviting their closest friends and family. The day had various peppers of rain throughout the day, but definitely didn’t effect the joyous events of the day. The reception ended with the wedding lots of laughing and dancing the night away at The 1886 Crescent Hotel.
