Melissa + Faheem | The Barn at Tyge William Cellars Wedding

The Bay Area will always have a special place in my heart. We got engaged there, we had our wedding ceremony near Muir Woods, and I have consumed many forearm sized burritos at Taquerias Cancún. As much as I love the coffee and burritos in San Francisco, there something so calming about taking the 101 to cross the Golden Gate Bridge into wine country. The pace is much slower, with you stopping to enjoy the fresh air, admire the robust views, and definitely enjoy the wine.

It’s hard to meet someone in the city, someone that you really connect with, and on their first date after dinner and a rousing game of beer pong, Melissa and Faheem knew they have met their person. They have gone on various adventures around the world, taking breathtaking photos and eating food. The anticipation and elation when they finally saw each other on the wedding day was a sight to behold.

The picturesque Barn at William Tyge Cellar in Sonoma is where Melissa and Faheem’s had their nuptials. They got married in front of a large willow tree overlooking a fountain surrounded by the vineyard. They wanted to show their friends and family a relaxed day, with lots of Sonoma wine, their favorite blues band fronted by Quinn Deveau, and lawns games such as slamball and of course where it started, with beer pong.
