There is only one word that comes to mind when thinking about Kasey and Anne’s downtown Austin rooftop wedding: rager.
Our day began in front of one of the many murals throughout the downtown core of Austin and continued around town to public artworks and Austin specific haunts. A nod to the new and old of the town that means so much to them. As we arrived at their wedding venue we were greeted by their family and friends arriving likewise. The rooftop ceremony offered views of downtown Austin in all the evening light glory. Officiated by their dear friend they were married.
As the evening descended into night, the guests were treated to a dinner with elegant garden party vibes. A greenery backdrop, and candlelit long tables added to the atmosphere. Then the venue transformed to a dancefloor to dance under the city lights.
The highlight of the night would be an epic final last dance set to their favorite song, Dance Yrself Clean. Let me describe this song. It has a slow, methodical three-minute intro, then the beat drops. At that very moment, a pyro show greeted the dancing crew while confetti and streamers rained from the sky. It was truly the only way to end a rager.
